Best Horse Racing Bets For Saturday 7th December
We have some fantastic horse racing to look forward to on Saturday, with big meetings taking place at both Sandown and Aintree. Our expert tipster on horsebetting.org takes a look through the cards and gives you his three best horse racing bets for Saturday, including a big tip for one in the Tingle Creek Chase.
Sandown 1:50 PM – Henry VIII Novice Chase
The Henry VIII novice chase at Sandown is another good looking contest at the venue, and one that could have some real potential stars of the future in it.
While he wasn’t the best of these over hurdles, Nube Negra has really impressed over the bigger obstacles so far this season, winning two races from two stars. He has a big step up in class to contend with here but has done everything with ease so far and looks ready for it.
Summerville Boy and Grand Sancy appear to be the biggest challengers, but while they were better over hurdles, the transition to bigger obstacles has not been as smooth for these two runners as it has for Nube Negra.
In what looks to be a great renewal of the Henry VIII novice chase, Nube Negra is the selection.
Aintree 2:40 PM – Many Clouds Chase
The return of both Native River and Might Bite has given the Grade Two Many Clouds chase a far more interesting feel than it normally has, and these two can dominate things on Saturday.
Native River stands out as being one of the best horse racing bets of the day for me, he has the quality to grind these out, and with Might Bite not really looking himself at any point during last season, there has to be a big question mark over him.
Black Corton could well prove to be the main danger to Native River if Might Bite continues to struggle, though the quirk of this race means that Black Corton has 6lb more to carry than Native River, despite being an inferior horse.
Native River is the pick to claim the Many Clouds chase and rounds off our three best bets for Saturday’s horse racing action.
Sandown 3:00 PM – Tingle Creek Chase
A race seen as one of the premier two mile chase races in the entire calendar, and the field for this year’s renewal certainly doesn’t disappoint.
We have eight scheduled to go to post, and you could give six of them a chance of winning based on pieces of their form from the past. However, it is recent Cheltenham winner Defi Du Seuil that stands out from the crowd. This will be a sharp enough test for him, but I expect them to go fast here, and his staying power can come into play at the end of the race.
He beat Politologue at Cheltenham, and there is no reason why the grey can turn around form with him here. Sceau Royal and Un De Sceaux rate the main dangers, but this is the first time both of those horses have ran this season, and they could lack a little in the fitness department.
Defi Du Seuil is my pick in the big race on Saturday, and he rates one of the best horse racing bets of the day.
